Carnelian is another one of my favouritest artists from a long time ago. There are a few artists that I like better than her now, but a few years ago she would have been my favourite. I have 203 pictures of her’s at the moment (quite a few duplicates though), totalling 449MB. Here’s the usual wiki copypasta:

Carnelian (born September 21) is a well-known Japanese female CG and dōjinshi artist. She had done artwork and character designs for various anime, yaoi and hentai games such as Kao no Nai Tsuki, Yami to Boshi to Hon no Tabibito, Tail Tale, Koiyoubi (”Day of Love” in the English Dub), and more. Her newest work is Quilt. She established her own game company named Root, and occasionally draw dōjinshi.

Wikipedia isn’t really correct here, because her newest works is Touka Gettan (2007) while Quilt is a 2005 eroge. Can’t really expect english wikipedia to be too accurate with japanese illustrators though. In fact, I’m pretty impressed there is even a page for Carnelian – alot of the artists I will be covering in the next few weeks don’t have pages on english wikipedia. Of the works she’s done, I have the eroges Quilt and Kao no Nai Tsuki (might also be known as Moonlight Lady) which I also haven’t gotten around to playing yet though Quilt is installed on my computer. I really want to get around to capturing Airi as soon as I move my comp someplace safe where there will be no perving eyes when I read my eroge. Oh and you can probably see one of her pics in my header.

I’m sure you’ll agree with me that Carnelian draws beautiful eyes! Even on the chibis, the eyes have a really nice look, I just don’t know how to describe it. Once again apart from being able to recognise her art I don’t know much else about her, so it’s that time of the week again – Imagedump Time!!

Here’s the copypasta from last week’s Illustrator Intro that I might just copy into every week’s one just in case people didn’t read the older ones but want the pics:

All the scans I get are from konachan and moe imouto. If you really like a pic and want to get the high-res version then you can find it on konachan or moe imouto easily because I don’t change the filenames of my pictures. If the filename is something like moe-37571-suzuhira_hiro then that means the image came from moe imouto. You just need to type moe.imouto.org/post/show/37571  in the navigation bar. Don’t worry about the suzuhira_hiro bit coz that’s just the tag. If the filename is like konachancom-37037-suzuhira_hiro.jpg then it’s the same except instead of moe imouto it’s at konachan so just type konachan.com/post/show/37037. If the filename is something else then, sorry I don’t remember where I got the pic from.

Clue for next week's illustrator. Should be easy to guess...
