Nobody seems to have taken any guesses at his week’s featured artist (well actually last week’s =_=) but I’m pretty sure most people would recognise Tinkle’s art?! Tinkle does draw very nice bishoujos, but you do tend to get distracted from the bishoujos because of the crazy amount of detail in the clothes. Pretty much every Tinkle drawing has frills and laces and things like that to make the art more moesome. I  have 72 Tinkle scans totalling at 910MB!!! I love and hate Tinkle scans… Love them because they’re so pretty but hate them because they are usually larger than 20MB, which is not especially good when you have limited bandwidth T___T

Surprisingly Japanese Wikipedia tells me that Tinkle has not drawn artwork for any eroge (well there are a few names of games and stuff in japanese but I don’t recognise them and I don’t think they are eroge), but has drawn some manga and of course, a bunch of art books. Something new that I just found out by reading that wikipedia article is that Tinkle is actually a group of two guys, Harukaze Setsuna and Bell. I did find it a bit strange that I saw those two names on the tags for all Tinkle’s artwork on moe imouto recently XD  Oh and here’s the site.

All the scans I get are from konachan and moe imouto. If you really like a pic and want to get the high-res version then you can find it on konachan or moe imouto easily because I don’t change the filenames of my pictures. If the filename is something like moe-37571-suzuhira_hiro then that means the image came from moe imouto. You just need to type moe.imouto.org/post/show/37571  in the navigation bar. Don’t worry about the suzuhira_hiro bit coz that’s just the tag. If the filename is like konachancom-37037-suzuhira_hiro.jpg then it’s the same except instead of moe imouto it’s at konachan so just type konachan.com/post/show/37037. If the filename is something else then, sorry I don’t remember where I got the pic from.

It’s rather difficult to write about artists that I know nothing about and there’s really not much point in me just translating the whole wikipedia article, because my japanese is still quite terrible… But I guess taking a quick look through the articles is good though because it forces me to use my japanese skills a little bit. Most of the time when I have to read lots of japanese online I’m fairly hopeless, but rikaichan is my friend XD
