While I was excited writing up about what good stuff has appeared this season I forgot about the crap. I’ll just shove that here for now. Though some of these shows were terrible and made me feel like I had just wasted 20 mins of my life, some were ok. Obviously none were good though.

Natsu no Arashi just put me off. I gave it a chance because it’s by the author of School Rumble, even though I don’t like School Rumble. The art put me off. The story put me off. No more Natsu no Arashi for me. No pic for this show.

Saki is ok, though I read the manga. The manga seems more interesting and looks better too. I don’t get what is happening in the show though because I don’t actually know how to play mahjong – trying to learn though. The anime is strangely ecchi though. Maybe just mahjong isn’t interesting enough for some people? The main reason I gave up on it was because I don’t know anything about mahjong. It’s not too bad.

The version of Arad Senki i downloaded had terrible sound. Once again the art put me off, lack of proper direction in the storyline put me off and I’ve never really liked game -> anime adaptations in the first place. It’s a miracle I’m watching two of them this season. No pic for this show either.

I watched 5 episodes of Chi’s New Address (the pic at the top of this pots of a cat). It’s about a cat that lives in a new home. It’s like an anime version of a 4koma manga – each episode is 5 minutes and they’re just filled with random stuff. It’s kind of cute but I don’t have time for it.

Higepiyo is pretty much the same as Chi’s New Address except that instead of being about a cat that got a new home, its about a wierd bird with a beard that got a new home. It’s a bit strange and it’s trying to appeal with it’s “ugly cute” style but once again no time for ugly cute birds with beards that drink sake, eat curry and read the newspaper.

I watched the first episode of Denpateki na Kanojo too. It’s rather odd too and I stopped watching it because it’s rather gruesome with blood and guts and yanderes. I can put up with Kara no Kyoukai even though it has the same stuff, because the art is so much better – it’s easier to just admire the art and try to ignore the scary stuff. Obviously from this screenshot Denpateki na Kanojo doesn’t have great art. I just took the screenshot because of the Akikan refernce XD

I shall write about the two remaining animes I am going to watch this season later – Hayate no Gotoku and Tayutama. They are both quite good and definitely deserve more detailed posts. I’m also still waiting for Queen’s Blade, Hatsukoi Gentei (don’t feel like watching it anymore because of excessive fanservice and Ichigo 100% anime was terrible compared to manga) and Ippatsu Juuden-chan to come out before I judge those. I think they are already out somewhere but not on the site that I download from. I wait for people to convert anime into rmvb format before I download in a futile attempt to keep my downloads below 50GB every month. It helps.. but I still always go over =_=
