Here’s the Illustrator Intro a few days late like usual! This week I’ll be introducing you to Izumi Tsubasu’s (和泉つばす) art! Her circle is Hisuitei (翡翠亭). I have 23 Ryohka scans coming to 96MB, which really isn’t very many. I only just managed to find the usual 20 or so that I shove in a post. I actually don’t like Izumi Tsubasu’s artwork all that much, but it is definitely good. Tony Taka is the same but I don’t really like the art so much that I would download a 50MB or 100MB scan. My love for illustrations is expressed in megabytes XD

Izumi Tsubasu did illustrations for Feng (eroge company). She worked on Aozora no Mieru Oka and Akaneiro ni Somaru Saka with Ryohka apparently and made the characters that I don’t really pay much attention to. It seems she also worked on Mashiro-iro Symphony which is an eroge by Palette. It looks good so I’ll probably download it when it comes out. From what I can see she really likes to draw maids and lots of pantsu exposure. Nearly every Izumi Tsubasu scan that I have is of a maid!

All the scans I get are from konachan and moe imouto. If you really like a pic and want to get the high-res version then you can find it on konachan or moe imouto easily because I don’t change the filenames of my pictures. If the filename is something like moe-37571-suzuhira_hiro then that means the image came from moe imouto. You just need to type moe.imouto.org/post/show/37571 in the navigation bar. Don’t worry about the suzuhira_hiro bit coz that’s just the tag. If the filename is like konachancom-37037-suzuhira_hiro.jpg then it’s the same except instead of moe imouto it’s at konachan so just type konachan.com/post/show/37037. If the filename is something else then, sorry I don’t remember where I got the pic from.

According to Doujinshi DB, Ryohka has done 68 doujinshis which is alot! Just looking at the thumbnails on that page, none of them seem particularly great though. TheAkiba has one artbook though, and it looks good. I should probably downlaod it to expand my Izumi Tsubasu collection. Izumi Tsubasu on Japanese Wiki, her blog and Hisuitei site here. Next week’s illustrator is one of my favourites again! You probably can’t tell who it is from this picture but if I showed you anything else it would probably be too obvious. After all he did illustrations for an eroge that’s having an anime this season! Oh and it seems like sometime last week when I was hibernating the blog hit the 10,000 hit mark! Thanks to all the lurkers that read my blog and spammers that post spam that gets caught by the spam eater but still make my hits go up!!
