I wish I had the time to lie around too T____T

I wish I had the time to lie around too T____T

Sorry for the lack of any updates on the blog these last few weeks. I never knew uni took up so much time… if I did I would have done business (3 days/week!!) instead of science. 5 day weeks suck! I’ll at least try to write up the Illustrator Intro though I’m not sure if I I’ll have time for much else…

Oh and for some odd reason I also managed to pass JLPT level 2 with my measly japanese knowledge – with a score of 69% XD  The passing mark is 60% so I feel that I haven’t done too bad considering I didn’t understand most of what was on the test. But just because I didn’t understand it doesn’t mean I don’t get a shiny certificate saying that I passed!!!  Yay for multiple choice questions and guessing answers!!!!

Ever since I started up this blog I’ve been trying to make a post everyday but I now realise how hard that is… Things are starting to get busy and I can’t seem to find the time to watch the anime on my computer, let alone blog about it.I also realised that quite a few other blogs I read are having less frequent updates too, compared to during the holiday season. I initially started this blog because I had too much time and thought I would do something productive (well kind of) but now I find I don’t have as much time for it as I would like… I really wish I could be like Eirin in that video because really, ゆっくりでいいさ. The english subs are a bit strange though. Not very accurate.

Dango Daikazoku!

Dango Daikazoku!

Today I made an effort to leave my house, and drove down to the Gold Coast with my family. Had no good anime to watch either, just trying to watch Kannazuki no Miko and Rozen Maiden Traumend for the sake of watching them – they’re not that great. Usually I don’t like the beach because the sun is very hot (sorry for stating the obvious but it’s something not everybody realises), but today was a bit overcast so I thought I would leave the house before I turn into a vampire.

The Gold Coast has the largest concentration of Japanese people that I know of within an hour’s drive of my house and thanks to that there are lots of Japanese restaurants down there. I went to somewhere random and ate some dango (mitarashi dango I thinks) and drank some green tea. Bit boring though but was tasted nice.

After that went somewhere else and ate a bowl of ramen and a bowl of 親子丼 (Oyakodon). I was absolutely stuffed after that but it was yum so it was worth it. Doesn’t look as good as Danny Choo’s one though… Shall spam some pictures now:

Oyakodon! Yum!
