I’ve been having to put off anime for a while because of stupid assignments, but mid semester break is only one week away! I managed to finish Clannad After Story and Sora wo Miageru Shoujo no Hitomi ni Utsuru Sekai (hopefully that’s the last time I ever have to type that ever again =_=) and I think I wrote something about them in my KyoAni rant post. Now I’ve managed to finish off Gundam 00 and Maria+Holic too! I’ve finished watching half of the series that I picked up last seasons, which is why I’m halfway to the finish line. Now I only have to finish off the last episode of Akikan! and about 5 episodes of Sorakake Shoujo and another 2 episodes of Rideback =_=  I’ll write up the afterthought posts after I’ve watched those (obviously) and for now I’ll just tell you how weak I thought the Gundam and Maria+Holic endings were – THEY WERE TOOOOOOO WEAK especially Maria+Holic. In fact Maria+Holic didn’t even have an ending =_=

Today I am finally finished posting about last week’s anime! But now a new episode of Akikan has come out for me to watch… Well I better get on with it or this will never end. Umm this post is about Maria+Holic and Sorakake Shoujo I think. Both episode 7 apparently.

Maria+Holic had more of the usual good stuff. The zetsubou face was rather nostalgic, though I was a bit disappointed that Kanako didn’t shout out ZETSUBOU SHITA! Because last week’s episode said “To be continued”, I really thought that this whole episode was going to be about hunting down the stolen black lingerie, kind of like those two episode Detective Conan cases, but they resolved the case of the stolen black lingerie within the first few minutes. Well I guess they kind of resolved the issue, before Kanako ran off with the lingerie again XD

Shizu-chan Kawaiiiiiiii

I would have to say that, to me, Maria+Holic 6 was the best episode in the series so far!  Though I said last post that every Maria+Holic episode seems to be split into two, I only saw the title screen once, so maybe it’s not true. The episode was very aptly named though – The Perverted Sick Bay XD

This episode was great because it had all the usual stuff, BUT with moar Matsurika and twice as much Mariya (in a way). It started off with the usual Kanako abuse, then there was lots of oppais and GAR (lol I’m gar for archer too) face!

Nekomimi

I know its not that time of the week yet (Maria+Holic time!) but I only just found this download and I didn’t feel like waiting till next Maria+Holic episode comes out so I thought I would share now. Because sharing is caring =D

Today I’ll be sharing the Maria+Holic ED single – 君に、胸キュン (Kimi ni Mune-kyun). Get it here. Once again, I don’t upload these, I just find them.

There are two songs on this single. The first one is obviously 君に、胸キュン. You would have heard it if you watched Maria+Holic past episode 1 (shame on you if you didn’t!). The second song is ネコミミリズム (Nekomimi Rythm) which is God’s character song. I like Nekomimi Rythm better than Kimi ni Mune-kyun and the lyrics (well the bits I can understand) are funny. Karaoke (vocal-off) tracks of both songs are on the single as well.

Maria+Holic is the first time I ever herad of God having nekomimi. God is great! (in a Maria+Holic sense. I’m not christian)

Last time was maid, this time is nurse =D

Although last week’s Maria+Holic was just a little bit disappointing, this week’s grabbed me right off the bat. Showing me Mariya in a nurse uniform within the first 5 seconds made me pay attention straight away! Being able to see Nurse Mariya and Matsurika right at the beginning of the episode pleased me very much~ Mariya’s poses while wearing the nurse uniform are great XD

Matsurika <3333

My thoughts on Maria+Holic 4 weren’t that great. I found this high-res pic of Matsurika (the one above) at Konachan though this week. Made me happy ^_^! The show is still good overall but this episode seemed to have something missing… I’m probably just bothered by the fact that Mariya hardly appeared in this episode (except to provide “fanservice” =D), which means less sadistic trap, which means less happy times for me.

Maybe it wasn’t as good becuase I watched it on my phone… And just maybe, watching good anime on a 3 inch screen sucks very much. I’m pretty sure the witty jokes and random references to marine products were still here.. I just can’t seem to remember them.

The episode didn’t really catch my attention that well because it didn’t have much Mariya or Matsurika and I think I’ve already forgotten what the episode was about, because I watched it a few days ago. Only got around to blogging it now >_<

Chibi Matsurika!!! + Insults too!! Moe~

Maria+Holic has made it to it’s third episode AND ITS STILL FULL OF WIN! This week we got and OP and ED sequence which was nice. The ED song is rather cute. Mediafire link came up 4th when I typed “kimi ni mune kyun” in google! Pity it’s only TV size though… I love how SHAFT gets the seiyuus to sing the OP and ED!! I’m turning into a total SHAFT fanboy!!

Matsurika! <3

After watching Maria+Holic ’s second episode I love the show, just a little bit more. Episode two wasn’t as entertaining as the first one, but it was still full of win. We got to see the OP, which in true SHAFT style only came up 5 mins into the show. The song is called 鼻血 (Hanaji) which means nosebleed. I didn’t really like the song or the animation, but the bright colours made me kind of happy. I don’t know why they added some random manga scenes in as well, which makes it seem like SHAFT was too lazy to animate it, but it works and I guess that’s just their style. Doesn't look like there is very much good stuff this season...

There doesn’t really seem to be much good anime lately. I remember back when I first started watching anime in primary school I would watch anything no matter how bad it was, but unfortunately I can’t afford that kind of time anymore. I guess even if I did have that much time I wouldn’t be able to stand watching bad anime anymore. I guess you really do acquire a refined taste with experience! I’ll probably only be watching Chrome Shelled Regios, Maria+Holic, Akikan, Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo and Queen’s Blade this season.
